I've heard rave reviews about Strala so I came to try it for myself.
The first class I went for was Energize. It was my first time here so I didn't know how exactly the classes worked. As it turned out, Energize was a high-powered, slightly advanced level class. So guess who fell back in class within minutes!
The two other girls in class were extremely adept at the moves, both of them anticipating what the instructor would move towards without waiting for her commands. They were both so strong and flexible my fucking God. I was in awe the whole time.
Towards the end, my instructor helped me attain my first ever hand stand! I can't do it without support but I am on a slow journey towards it so. As long as I don't stop right? That's how I convince myself to get by nowadays anyway.
Man I truly need proper inspiration soon.
When will I be able to see results I'm proud of?
This studio is honestly gorgeous. They have an outdoor patio, an outdoor lounge area, an indoor cosy corner, endless mats and soft light everywhere. I was initially worried that I'd have nothing to do in-between lessons but PHOTO OPS EVERYWHERE I needn't have worried.
I used up my sessions for this month fml but I will be back for their core soon!
Went to visit my grandma after that and heard the most adorable stories about how fat she was in her younger days. She made a gesture and said she was all of 107kg (a number she can never forget heheh) and that she looked like a gor li (marble)!
And because big hair were all the rage back then, she'd puff up her hair. She said it was such a sight that her hairdresser would call her a "puffy puppy" SO CUTE. Then she proceeded to doze off on the couch as I started on my work.
Granddad kept asking if I wanted money awww so cute :')
Dinner with Candice and it truly is always an interesting time heh heh.
