Review: Shiva Yoga Studio

Shiva Yoga Studio is an accessible studio.

It is right around the corner of Bugis' KFC, on the 3rd floor, right above this famous nasi lemak stall. I arrived fifteen minutes ahead of class, checked in with the happy receptionist, and settled to wait in the first studio.

The yoga studio was small and stuffy. It didn't look attractive. I was kinda regretting my decision to book a class here. Helps none the less that the class was full. I preferred small classes, a la Platinum and R-evolution. But I decided to stay on,

The workout itself was pretty good.

Most of the moves were basic yoga moves, but the instructor would tell us variations of the pose that we could try. I went ahead for every single harder pose and got them all! Which truly means the workout is actually pretty easy.

One thing I preferred about this place against the other studios is how fucking efficient the heated room is. Barely five minutes in and I felt the place burn up like a sauna. I could have perspired my liver out in this room. It was an amazing environment to stretch in.

In the end, I would say aesthetically, this place is a low 3/10 but workout-wise, I'd put it to 7/10.

Baby brother snoozing.

He is so cute. The most darling thing about my baby brother is that he hates waking up alone. In our old apartment, all the beds were lined up side by side so the family is always together. And he grew used to waking up to see us.

Now, he sleeps with my parents and most of the time, they'd be up before him so he'd wake up alone. And so I spent the morning asking him what he preferred and he kept nodding when I asked "the old arrangement?" AWWW MY POOR SMALLER BABY.

Side-note check out his eyelashes:

And mine:

We are the superior eyelash-gene specie!

Lucky you, bigger baby (Gabriel)! Our kids are going to be eyelash royalty.
