Pierce through a prism

One of the last things I wrote for you.

Of all the people I met and loved, none of them could ever hold their own next to you. You were singularly the brightest source of sunshine in my life through 2011 to 2012, before I dragged you into my shit storm and unintentionally turned you into my greatest loss.

In 2006, you were the first man to take me out on a date. I remember dressing up to meet you at City Hall, I remember us eating at Long John Silver's and me sneaking a photo of you, I remember you sending me only to Choa Chu Kang MRT Station.

And most of all,

I remember your last smile as I walked away from you for the last time in 2013.

To Hweechen:

Red is your rage, naked and raw. Blue is your voice, calm and soothing. Green is your smile, vibrant and beatific. Brown are your eyes, dancing and lukewarm. Grey is your pain, unknown and shrouded. Black is your silence, deafening and crushing. You are a mirage of colors.

And in your absence, I’ve chosen colorblindness.

Vae victis.

I've finally found a new man to love after you,
As I know you have too.

May you be happy forever.
