Though the latter's not very possible really.
Some time back I threatened my brother for fun, as I always do.
He was doing something silly and I told him to stop it. I said, "Ah di if you continue doing it, I will beat the living daylights out of you," and he replied without missing a beat, "Then I will become a nightlight!"
And before I had time to recover from this adorably lame pun, my mother shouted from the kitchen telling my sister to get up and eat her McDonald's breakfast, lest her hot cakes become "cold cakes".
So punny I can't function.
Impromptu night out with Kaiqin to Singapore Night Festival, again!
I wanted to go desperately because I saw photos of this HDB corridor installation in the event geo-tag. I wanted to do the sticker-on-HDB-flat activity more than life. First time I wanted a HDB so bad. Great marketing guys.
Hopefully, my talk tomorrow pans out and I can skip out on Malaysia and head over to next weekend with baby. Can't wait to see how his ideal HDB would look like. Can't wait to see how mine looks like! Can't wait for us to match!
We reached Q8 and found out that the place was open only on Friday and Saturday. Such is my life. Anyway, the nice usher directed us to one of the open exhibits at National Design Center so here we are.
I think the video does better justice.
Volcanic swirls on a blank canvas.
I thought it reacted to touch first so I walked around, wondering if the swirls would follow my trail or get disturbed as I pass. Realized it didn't work that way and exited the place embarrassed but swiftly with Kaiqin hahah.
Took a while to find this exhibit!
The bird is pretty majestic in life. I've seen it dominate a thousand feeds on the festival location tag and I thought I'd be disappointed but this larger than life sculpture is impressive. Mesh and light, just mesh and light.
Spent the rest of the night watching Anooki. I enjoyed immensely the part where the animated things tore down the wallpaper. It looked so lifelike and actual! I oohed and aahed a lot in the video but thankfully it's overwritten.
Can't wait to come back next weekend, for the HDB and for a small hope that the reservers for Kumar's shows fucks off and gives up their tickets LEMME SEE MY QUEEN!
Closed the night with my favourite voice before he sails the seas.
