It started with Haslinda. She wanted to go for their aerial classes but it was going for $30 a pop and I had KFit so I told her I'll pass. Adding onto it was a recommendation from the girl yesterday. So I booked for their signature barre.
The studio is pretty central. It is in Tanjong Pajar, close to Duxton. All of my favourite food places and book stores were a stone's throw away. I thought 'what a relaxing setting. the class confirm relaxing.'
Put a tail on me and hang me on a tree because lol WHAT A DONKEY I WAS.
Barre was T O U G H. I always start out posts with 'chey easy easy but WOW SO TOUGH' but I actually mean it with this class. Who knew ballet murdered legs like this? By the 30-minute mark, most of the girls were slowing down, but none as slow as me because I came to a complete halt LOL.
I like this class. I like it because it's fucking classy. Lots of stances and toe pointing. All movements are tinged with ballet's elegance but basketball's cardio. No shit wait I just realized that's why this class is called ballet cardio FUCK I tio pian by myself.
It was intensive. Barre burns energy like a beast. Nobody can ever tell me now that ballet is easy. Now, I want to worship at Misty Copeland's feet more than ever.
I survived and so celebrated with poser photos.

Lol @ me for using the bar wrongly (figured this out the next day at rhythmic gymnastics) but I'm glad I made myself try. Now I am saving the last two lessons as dearly as I am saving Strala's.
After class, I headed home to rest for the photoshoot. Today was Little Guilin with @m1ckyangelo, who brought his mentor along.
Those bearing the watermark belongs to the mentor and those without are Micky's. I love the mentor's expertise but Micky makes me feel more comfortable so I was more natural in front of his lenses.
Also, I think this is the end of my fitness photography. Gonna go back to casual. No point being in leggings and sports bra and looking 50% when I can wear a bodycon and be at 90%.
Check out my vanity.

My hair needs church and salvation.
