My lazy baby refused to wake up till he smelled food, which led to me slaving it out in the kitchen alone. Which is fair, since usually for dinner it'll be the other way round, and dinner encompass a lot more skills than my limited arsenal.
He actually never means it when he tells me to prepare breakfast, because I once cracked a plate in the microwave and burnt a pan and you get the idea, I wasn't in the kitchen much growing up hehehe.
Headed to hoops with an UNREAL EXCITEMENT.
It is a testament to how slowly stronger I'm getting, that I can now choreograph not just my routine, but also my descents. Prettiest descent in class and I've never been prouder.
I missed out on a move because all the hoops here are way too big for me (if instructor Eunice was here and knew I was coming, she'd prepare a tiny hoop for me) and couldn't one-leg press up without my arms snapping.
But I'm proud of my aerial split. I have come a long bloody way!
It was Mother's Day weekend and initially, I thought my mum was fine with the idea of buffet next week. But still, I sensed she was slightly grouchy about the lack of surprise so I casually went, 'We can have dinner tonight,' and she agreed after only a split second's hesitation.
Now if you know my family (you wouldn't, unless you're my ex, in which case whoa whoa whoa whatchu doing here), you'd know they are notoriously hard to ask out. They (mum dad brother) like to stay home. So when she agreed, I was thrown WAY OFF.
In fact, I booked gym classes at Extreme Fitness already LOL I was ready for her to say no and me to look disappointed and then head out to the gym but now I actually had to cancel class hahah. Time to gear up for Mission: Surprise da Mum or risk not having breakfast laid out tomorrow hahah.
Me and my sister then had an emergency shopping trip across Clementi Mall where we picked up the daintiest bouquet of flowers and a Charles and Keith bag that we stressed madly over. In the end she didn't like it, but that's a bucket of tears for another day.
Met the rest of the early family at Xin Wang and we had a happy meal together!
Mum was playfully mocking my sister's dance style and my brother joined in lol. Dad showed us a gross video of a girl getting her hair torn out by a drill. We shared all our dishes on sharing plates. It was a nice time in a long while.
Oh damn we all look so alike up close!
Also, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED WHOOP WHOOP!
