I didn't know poached eggs and smoked salmon could marry in flavour so seamlessly till Hatched. It led to this expensive, life-long love for pretentious toast drizzled with pretentious sauce. And the mashed potatoes! By God their potatoes.
He looks so great here :)
Once again, I am shitty at food photos so this does it no justice.
While Dome still has my vote as king of eggs benedict, this comes a close second because of their fantastic accompanying homemade mashed potatoes, strategically cropped out the photo because I couldn't wait and ate it upon arrival lol.
Gabriel had the smoked salmon rosti. The whole dish looked like an art - the salmon was arranged in a rose formation for Christ's sake - but they served to him and the man in him REFUSES to care about his food so all he managed to grunt was, 'Mmmhmm it'z good it'z good.'
Headed to Ang Mo Kio after that to photograph him and his bike!
So bloody adorable.
What's with my face sigh.
I asked him to name the bike and without thinking, he piped Artemis the II. He explained that the first would be our baby girl so this is second lol.
Also we weren't particularly smart with planning this because right after this photo set, I suggested we fix up the bike sometime and instead of taking that to mean after he comes back from sailing, he took it as the very day itself so guess what we did after :/
He was sexy the first few minutes of fixing up the black beauty. But after a while, it felt like he didn't know what he was doing and was just messing with his bike. That stopped being sexy so I got bored and went upstairs and continued watching Friends.
Till I got hungry. Then it was me quickly touching up and rushing back downstairs to passionately watching him fix it up while I hinted nasi lemak for supper.
May is ending and so is my time with him.
