25-Day Challenge

To disclaim, I do not believe in 30-day challenges.

I do not believed in any-day any-thing.

I think all things should be done with the target of making it a habit. Not just in the aspect of fitness, but also in anything related to career and life.

Take for example:

When I first started freelancing, I didn't check my inbox for two weeks lol I am an embarrassment. But my sales was persistent in asking me to check my inbox for her emails. It took a week of her constantly pushing me to reply emails, and then after that a habit formed. I now check it daily/ hourly lol I am a dutiful employee at the core.

When I first started KFit, I didn't set a 30-day challenge. I started a simple task - go to two classes a day. 7 months later, this habit has ingrained itself into my bones. I still religiously stick to 2 classes a day on Guava, until my menses four days ago spectacularly smashed my streak to hell. Thanks, uterus!

When I first started doing household chores at home, I didn't set a period to last till. I just started doing the laundry and cooking and cleaning and knowing me lol, it morphed into an obsession. It has been three weeks and there is never an unwashed load left alone for more than 12 hours in this household. I really am a Monica it's in my blood.

This challenge I'm taking is the Blogilates one.

To be fair, she doesn't state it like a challenge. She meant for it as a lifestyle as well. I am coining it my 25-day challenge because I fly on 25 June on my first ever solo NYC trip and fuck me if I'm going to go like a lump of mess.

Also 25-day because I am going to stuff my face in Chipotle and burgers and chips and whatever it is that Americans get fat with once I'm there. So ya 25 days is a reasonable limit.

I'll post my workouts soon, but it's pretty much Blogilates' weekly exercises with the addition of everything I learnt from rhythmic gymnastics, HIIT and yoga. I'm trying to tailor it to make it the perfect mix of flexibility, strength and aesthetic.

I am supposed to upload a progress photo but lol I forgot.

So day one got shot to hell with this delightful little thing!

I love Nun Song Yee. I am always up for it. I've tried the bingsus across a few cafes but none of them come close to this. I never asked if Gabriel liked but he was the one who invented our ridiculously fattening way of eating it so WE'RE BOTH FANS!

Halfway through the dessert, he got up to wash the bathroom and I texted him about how he waddles like a penguin and he took it easily into his stride, replying with, 'No choice, cock too big.'

Such is my life.
