Meet the parents

Today, we finally met the parents.

We got ready early. My mum were fussing over what to wear. My dad and brother had matching navy blue polos. They got set real quick. Men. Mum then suggested we all wear blue for a theme so why not!

Grandma was excited too heh heh, she started preparing at 9am even though the lunch as at 12pm. Both her and my mum got a perm just for this. Guns all loaded to impress Gabriel's family heh heh.

My family were all worried over what names to have Gabriel's family address them by. My mum settled for Adeline and my dad settled for Lee. But when they actually meant, everyone just shook hands really enthusiastically.

Baby whispered about how nervous he was, but managed valiant attempts to connect both families. I wanted him to announce we're having our engagement this year but he was too shy to and so we ended up just laughing about him doing yoga on ship.

I'm extremely glad everything panned out. That, on top of having fantastic food!

We didn't know how to end it.

I insisted on the announcement and he went, 'You just want me to announce something!' Yeah I do hahah. Poor baby. In the end, we went with, 'Okay now we're going to go outside and take a photo!'

Thankful for today.

The Hos had to leave first because they had to prepare for rosary and I kept holding Gabriel's hand and refusing to be let go without loving. How am I going to stand not having him for three months? Sigh.

My family headed home and the two bored ones went ahead. My dad and brother were wearing identical attires so my brother looked like a shadow chasing its owner hahah.

My dad let the bird out to celebrate!

Baby took me out for a ride afterwards.

I think he has let the excitement of finally riding again get to his head haha. He went one hands free then hands free and seemed set on making me scream and grumpily plop his hands back on the steer. So cute.

We were halfway into baby's secret bike spot when he got hungry. We ended up just suppering and scraping the idea of our romantic date. I think we're happy in our comfortable stage :)

Shit flu attacked midway home and so I spent the rest of the night in a miserable mess in bed. Baby tucked me in carefully and lovingly before whooping and jacking off to Dota. Such is my life.

Still, what a wonderful, wonderful day.
