The countdown begins

Baby sent me to Beauty World today!

He had to head to Delta for some work stuff and I had an early class so he made time to send me to it. It was raining and he tucked me warmly into my jacket and made sure I was all safe and dry. My silly baby.

He reached my class area with plenty of time to spare so I took my time coodling him and holding him and disallowing him to leave till he absolutely had to. I am the clingest girlfriend in the world.

He spent the rest of the day looking for more bike parts as usual and I told him to just stop messing with it and buy the bloody speed valve already. What is the point of having an Aprilia if not to terrorize other bikes!!!

To which he responded, 'You terrorize me.'

Sigh.

He picked me up from my 9pm class and we ended to Bugis for me to speed-shop.

I ran out of slutty shorts because I lost a shit ton of weight somewhere but I can't figure out if it came from my waist (woohoo!) or my ass (for fuck's sake) but I have new slutty shorts again so woo all is right in the world again.

He had no craving so we went to our usual place for supper:

Schmoop schmoop.

25-Day Challenge

To disclaim, I do not believe in 30-day challenges.

I do not believed in any-day any-thing.

I think all things should be done with the target of making it a habit. Not just in the aspect of fitness, but also in anything related to career and life.

Take for example:

When I first started freelancing, I didn't check my inbox for two weeks lol I am an embarrassment. But my sales was persistent in asking me to check my inbox for her emails. It took a week of her constantly pushing me to reply emails, and then after that a habit formed. I now check it daily/ hourly lol I am a dutiful employee at the core.

When I first started KFit, I didn't set a 30-day challenge. I started a simple task - go to two classes a day. 7 months later, this habit has ingrained itself into my bones. I still religiously stick to 2 classes a day on Guava, until my menses four days ago spectacularly smashed my streak to hell. Thanks, uterus!

When I first started doing household chores at home, I didn't set a period to last till. I just started doing the laundry and cooking and cleaning and knowing me lol, it morphed into an obsession. It has been three weeks and there is never an unwashed load left alone for more than 12 hours in this household. I really am a Monica it's in my blood.

This challenge I'm taking is the Blogilates one.

To be fair, she doesn't state it like a challenge. She meant for it as a lifestyle as well. I am coining it my 25-day challenge because I fly on 25 June on my first ever solo NYC trip and fuck me if I'm going to go like a lump of mess.

Also 25-day because I am going to stuff my face in Chipotle and burgers and chips and whatever it is that Americans get fat with once I'm there. So ya 25 days is a reasonable limit.

I'll post my workouts soon, but it's pretty much Blogilates' weekly exercises with the addition of everything I learnt from rhythmic gymnastics, HIIT and yoga. I'm trying to tailor it to make it the perfect mix of flexibility, strength and aesthetic.

I am supposed to upload a progress photo but lol I forgot.

So day one got shot to hell with this delightful little thing!

I love Nun Song Yee. I am always up for it. I've tried the bingsus across a few cafes but none of them come close to this. I never asked if Gabriel liked but he was the one who invented our ridiculously fattening way of eating it so WE'RE BOTH FANS!

Halfway through the dessert, he got up to wash the bathroom and I texted him about how he waddles like a penguin and he took it easily into his stride, replying with, 'No choice, cock too big.'

Such is my life.

Review: Hatched Cafe

Headed to my old favourite haunt at Holland Village just so I could continue fiending for my eggs benedict.

I didn't know poached eggs and smoked salmon could marry in flavour so seamlessly till Hatched. It led to this expensive, life-long love for pretentious toast drizzled with pretentious sauce. And the mashed potatoes! By God their potatoes.

He looks so great here :)

Once again, I am shitty at food photos so this does it no justice.

While Dome still has my vote as king of eggs benedict, this comes a close second because of their fantastic accompanying homemade mashed potatoes, strategically cropped out the photo because I couldn't wait and ate it upon arrival lol.

Gabriel had the smoked salmon rosti. The whole dish looked like an art - the salmon was arranged in a rose formation for Christ's sake - but they served to him and the man in him REFUSES to care about his food so all he managed to grunt was, 'Mmmhmm it'z good it'z good.'

Headed to Ang Mo Kio after that to photograph him and his bike!

So bloody adorable.

What's with my face sigh.

I asked him to name the bike and without thinking, he piped Artemis the II. He explained that the first would be our baby girl so this is second lol.

Also we weren't particularly smart with planning this because right after this photo set, I suggested we fix up the bike sometime and instead of taking that to mean after he comes back from sailing, he took it as the very day itself so guess what we did after :/

He was sexy the first few minutes of fixing up the black beauty. But after a while, it felt like he didn't know what he was doing and was just messing with his bike. That stopped being sexy so I got bored and went upstairs and continued watching Friends.

Till I got hungry. Then it was me quickly touching up and rushing back downstairs to passionately watching him fix it up while I hinted nasi lemak for supper.

May is ending and so is my time with him.

Cabin fever

My adorable family!

In Thai massages, they always do this at the end where they crack all your bones. I did the correct posture for my baby brother but instead of cracking, I made the crack crack crack sounds but they didn't really get it. This would've killed with Gabriel.

Kinda forgot what my relatives were at my place for but judging by my lazy clothes, I probably did not go for class and since I had a fight with Gabriel later that day, I did not go to his place either.

Oh wait yeah. We had said fight then I asked him to come pick me up when he's done. He came at 2.24am and picked me up and we went home together and proceeded to have the most damaging fight, ending in no solid conclusion.

Oh well. A bad day does not a bad relationship make.

Gluttons beyond borders

Headed to Johor Bahru, again!

We spent the morning stuck at Land Transport Authority with me screaming at his bike handler and eventually, him settling the case with goodwill. Headed across the border and found our new favourite massage place!

No idea why I didn't take any photos but we had a nice time :) By this week, I've spent almost a full week at his place so today I finally went home and mated with my bed. It took a while to settle in again, but she has forgiven me.

I own all my belongings.

Also, what?

Anywhere with you

Stay in all day with my baby!

The entire chat on my phone for today is empty which means we spent the entire day together! I didn't go for any class either so I think he came over and slept while I did all the household chores.

Also, do I look cute in a cap or what!
