She showed off her prawns with my aunt imputing that no one else in the family eats prawns, and that they were truly solely for me and Gabriel. She kept telling him to eat more even though I actively tried to remind him NO RICE NO CARBS BABY.
I patted baby's belly as he sat down to eat while my grandma insisted he's just buff. When she finally sat down after much fussing, I tried to teach her how to use her new Samsung Tab and asked her what apps she wanted.
"4D, Toto 和你们的照片!"
And when I did install the apps, the first thing she did was happily open up Instagram and scroll through photos of us hehe.
Then my elder aunt went wow even Ah Ma knows Instagram! And my grandma took the opportunity to show off her knowledge, scrolling through her feed and explaining that if there's no new photos when she scrolls down, it means I never post anything on that day. SO CUTE!
Baby helped her download Toggle and she was mad happy that she can now watch Cruel Intentions! But by now she has probably forgotten how to access it lol time for more tutorials!
I tried to teach her how to upload photos on Instagram. The photo upload function loaded and my grandpa came to view as the lenses were pointed in his direction.
And I tried to press snap but my grandma went, "NO NO NO DONT WASTE A PHOTO!!!!" and terminated it.
She had her outburst in full view of my boyfriend, my aunt and my grandpa himself! My grandma has no chill! By now everyone was laughing at the outburst and my grandma, slightly abashed by the laughter, meekly said she don't want my grandpa's picture to pop out when she opens her tab.
The anger is real.
And all these while my grandpa is sitting there, understanding the commotion but equally not giving a fuck.
Such is my family hehe.

My hair is a such a mossy green. I would call myself a mermaid but I don't like mermaids and I am not delusional. She wasn't ready for the photo and I didn't care and snapped anyway hehe. My sister followed up with another of my grandma's unready photo heh heh tak glam grandma.
