On what I live for

Today was date day.

Some unsettling stuff happened in the morning and instead of making a move as we had planned, he decided to stay in and snuggle for a bit, making sure I was properly assured before we left his place.

How very lucky I am to have someone like you, who knows the scent of my sadness and starves them out before they have the chance to spread like a virus. So wonderful to have you as my immunity.

Pitch perfect was pretty good. The cinematic worshipper inside me wanted to weep about how messy the plot peaks mashed against each other but it is really hard to be a critic when your boyfriend is beside you having a a smashing good time, laughing too loudly at jokes the rest of the watching crowd missed out.

Much of our night involved me watching my sexy sexy techy boyfriend fix up my laptop.

There is nothing sexier than a man who knows his electronics. I flopped out of engineering school so believe me, I know how fucking tough even basic engineering is. So I have the deepest admiration and adoration for all hot men who can handle a tough tech fuck-up.

And watching him work my laptop in his pretty shirt and tight jeans is the equivalent of a sex-starved soccer mum watching a rugged Tom Hardy-esque plumber fix her kitchen sink. Yeeeeep too much info.

This is the face he deserved after I reached in to kiss him and he ducked because, "I was shocked baby" ya ya ya ok. He tried to kiss me after but that was the point my brother gave up photographing hahah.

What a wonderful weekend.
