Day 2: 2 Days in Desaru for SGD$100

Good morning sunshine!

I am in a spectacular mood. I don't think I ever enjoyed traveling with anyone else as much as I enjoyed traveling with Candice. She is as full of shit as I remembered heh heh. And so game for everything. Which means.. ATV!

We woke up and practically jumped down to the lobby for our salvation, the included breakfast buffet! I have no photos of the food because I was busy wolfing down everything I see. I am not a glam woman.

There were quite a variety of food though, I remember. There was rice, porridge, American sausages, bacon, cereals, vegetables, meats and eggs. I stuck mainly to eggs and cereal. Everything else Candice was sweeping up.

Headed to the paintball shooting range after that!

She made quite a few shots. I was unimpressed.

I pretty much missed every shot. She was definitely unimpressed hahah.

Headed over to the ATV rides after that. The regular rate was 50 rm for 15 minutes and 80 rm for 30 minutes. We were already running low so we decided 15 minutes is fine. And so we went over with little expectations.

But the kindly man told us that since it was a weekday and business was slow, we could have it for 30 minutes at the price of 50 rm. And in between our sincere thanks and happy smiles, he offered to let us to go out of range.

WHICH WE ABUSED TO NO END!

"Who rides like this jesus," Candice when I stood up to accentuate my short legs.

My engine died from me revving and releasing too often and the guy had to run over with his newspaper to fix it. While waiting, another man popped out of nowhere and offered to help us take a photo. SO NICE THE FOLKS HERE.

This turned out to be both our favorite photo of the trip hahaha.

She then borrowed my shades to look cool, because borrowing my shirt was not enough!

45 minutes later, it started to rain and the guy called for us back.

But not after kindly helping us take photos!

My god the people here are made of gold. Me and Candice kept fussing over how great the folks here are. I stopped fussing after a while to insist that she help me take photos of me at the pool. She grudgingly agreed and whoop:

Loved every shot!

The rain came down harder after that so we ran off into our resort. We borrowed Scrabble from the activities counter and headed up to chill till check out time, which was graciously extended by the manager to 2pm instead of 12pm.

As anticipated, I lost to Candice because the sneaky bitch had a million point gold mine that she managed to bank on because I MISSED OUT ON IT. NICOLE YOU BLIND BITCH!

The word she put two rounds ago was something like "understood" and she added on "mis-" or whatever and it came to 63 points. Guess what is my least favorite number now!

We got hungry lol I have infected her with my endless stomach so we ordered room service, the steak and briyani rice for 55 rm. It was pretty steep but it was good, me and Candice politely tried to fight our seconds. I lost.

As you can see, my camerawoman inched closer and closer to the right towards the end of this photo stream because the food was there, invitingly spreading its sauces, and she chose food over helping me take photos.

SUCH IS MY LIFE.

The shuttle to take us back to port arrived promptly and we reached, ahead of time.

Her looking like the innocent nurse she obviously isn't.

Me upset without contacts.

She spent a while in the ferry terminal trying to clear her leftover money. All I had was 10 rm so I resolved to buy a salmon flavored Lays for the boyfriend, but I ate it up before it ever reached him. I am the best girlfriend ever.

I spent the bulk of the ride home bitchin' about a mutual friend we used to have who blocked me on Instagram. I venomously blocked her back to (tit for tat is fair right) and insisted I did nothing wrong to deserve this at all.

Land ahoy'ed in a bit and went home to crash.

In summary:

ATV: 50 rm
Steak and chips: 27.5 rm
More chips: 10 rm

Total: 87.5 rm // SGD$30
