Attended the the tempest by yellow chair productions, courtesy of youthsg. Thank you again! Invited april and mintao and one of them had to pay so mintao volunteered heh. So kind of him.
It, however, thoroughly disappointed me. I am grateful for the tickets and the chance to watch it but I don't know plays will ever be my thing. I am all for dramatization but this is too absurb.
I was a lot more cruel in dissecting this play with them but this is an online platform so I best mince my words but in a nutshell - you will never see me at another play again.
Saw a double rainbow on the drive home with mintao!
Was home then rushed out quickly for the Ting Tong Belles!
Was invited by TheSmartLocal (oh thank you Bryan) and it was a fucking brilliant show. I love each and every part of it - the sarcasm, the wit, the direct jokes, the curved ones, the hokkien ones.
It was so fucking amazing that as I type this, I'm already checking for the next show because I HAVE TO GO AGAIN. IT MUST BE ILLEGAL FOR A MUSICAL TO BE THIS BRILLIANT. LOVE IT.

Pretty much got drunk early and was spending most of the night nursing a bad headache. Was having a fun time to all the songs I recognized and slightly bored at the songs I didn't. Still a fucking good night!
