Last day of bangkok.

The view from baiyoke sky hotel.

Lovely views that I didn't take long to admire because I was busy trying to be the view.

Check out their pretty pavilions.

Headed out to visit the last two cafes on my list before rushing to the airport.

I called her my baby the whole trip hehe so adorable oh I want to bring you home.

Lucky bunny cafe with their super cute bunnies! And they serve good food too. Those two sentences are not supposed to be together. The bunnies did not make me hungry. And the food is not bunny made.

(shifty eyes)

Aww look at them, so precious and fluffy.

Headed over to the true love cafe and neverland siberians and it was rest time but the owner obliged me after seeing I was gonna break down (drama me dammit) and opened it especially for us. SO HONORED. Note to self: am going to give them a 5/5 review on TheSmartLocal .

The dogs all look grand and majestic and check out their fur. There are derpy ones and fierce as fuck ones and very blur ones and they all have one thing in common! - they kept trying to lick my butt.

Case in point.

I was hugging one of the dogs when I felt two licks on my butt and immediately turned and faced the offender who is seen here trying to scurry away while I cover my violated spot hahah.

I conclude that my ass is a dog whisperer.

So anyway we left after thanking the owner profusely and headed over to fiji at mbk for the best salmon of our lives and were almost late to the airport - I had to run from the taxi stand all the way to the plane but at least we managed to get onto the flight heh heh.

What a lovely trip covering everything from shopping to animals to food to sights and everything beautiful. I have never loved another trip as badly as this and I can't wait to satisfy the wanderlust demon again heh heh.

I am way too sassy.

Bow before my oversized throne.

Had cheap breakfast (oh I love you bangkok) for under sgd4 and god knows I will miss their pad thai and sticky rice forever. Headed over to the first temple afterwards and I couldn't enter thanks to my red sea.

Met a beggar with a leg amputated outside who was very smiley and helped to clear the incense sticks and setting up fallen plants and encouraging me to go inside the temple to donate a coffin for the homeless.

I walked around the whole street trying to find water to buy for him and there are areas in bangkok where food is as rare as basic bitches and there are areas where food is as common as 12carat rings. So in the end I gave him some money and he looked so happy and humble and my heart broke.

Dawned onto me that he may have already resigned himself to this life - just sitting on a curb on a sidewalk waiting for kindness and doing kindness just so he could have a nice coffin for his death.

I wish I could help everyone.

Went to the Mae Nak Phra Khanong shrine by the pier and for 20baht, you could release fishes symbolizing everything from your sins to a prayer for happiness. So I bought a variety of fishes and let them go.

Headed over to Mr Jones Orphanage and the food was disappointing along with everything else so that's one wasted trip. Headed over to Roast as well and that was equally disappointing. The reviewer in me craves blood and these two below average cafes gave it.

Props to the funky quote outside Roast though. I like it.

Purr cat cafe after and cats hate me and I hate cats, end of story.

Pretty trees along all the pathways.

And finally, food hunting and more massages at night. Oh I love living like a king.

Hello from bangkok again!

Today I had a stomach-ache the size of fucking phuket because of a last minute menses and pretty much spent the first part of the day groaning and trying to die in the taxi before reaching chatuchak.

After that it was all shop shop shop down all the freezing drinks look at me care about you, bleeding uterus and a lot of shopping and no regretting at all because I'm finally a patient buyer heh heh heh (pats self)

My shorts makes my junk show dammit.

I saw a stall selling the most darling, tiniest little dogs and they were the size of my palm and I wanted to buy them so terribly but I knew I couldn't abandon them and go back to Singapore when my trip is over so that's on hold but when I live here one day (for a couple of months at least), I will find you baby!

Bangkok's first toilet themed restaurant, how about that! So cute.

Went to get massages again (nightly ritual heh heh) and I can stay here forever sigh.

Hello Bangkok!

So it was a 6am flight and I have never been gladder.

The sky was gorgeous and the clouds were fluffy and all I wanted to do was swim in them mmm. Tried to be sleepy but failed repeatedly so I pretty much decided to read Kafka by the shore again and get sad sigh.

“In everybody’s life there’s a point of no return. And in a very few cases, a point where you can’t go forward anymore. And when we reach that point, all we can do is quietly accept the fact. That’s how we survive.”

Have I reached mine?

Touch down!

Reached our hotel and dumped everything and headed straight off to platinum! Tried tons of funky street food along the way and bought my flowery headbands (fuck I'm obsessed) and I love them!

Maybe at one point, platinum was hot and relevant. But now it seems like all their prices are sky high and all their clothes are common and to be honest, this place will lose all relevance to me after the 3rd trip.

So I wouldn't advise you to bother dropping by here anymore. I'd say siam square is a better alternative. Or chatuchak. Mbk is a bigger disappointment so you can skip that too - I know I will.

Heh heh so we shopped till night and dropped by a cute cafe I saw!

They have the best truffles and the sweetest staff who directed us to the flower market.

Went to buy daisies and roses!

I have never seen daisies up close and they are beautiful. Kept reminding myself to take a photo with them but I obviously forgot sigh. And their roses are all in full bloom and stunning. Why am I in Singapore sigh.

It would be so lovely to live in bangkok for a while. To wake up and get daisies and roses and buy their 100baht lights and decorate my room and bask in their beauty while I write and be miserable.

I think its bright eyes playing in the background that's doing this to me.

What a lovely breakfast with the loveliest girl ever :)

Haven't seen her in a long time and we caught up quickly over fantastic breakfast and mindless shopping. Is it still shopping if its just her watching me fall into my floral obsession abyss and buying weirdass hats hahaha.

And the happiest date day in a long time.

Day out and life is tiring.

Went to daiso to get stuff for the upcoming bangkok trip and I officially have 4 boxes scented petals for each of the 4 days I'll be there heh heh. I always may have went demonic over the flower headbands.
